Short USDJPY @ 117.71

I opened this short position at 117.71/118.05/117.00 as dictated by my analysis today. The moving averages are lined up, the MACD is in agreement and volume is slightly above average.

Exit: I got stopped out (at 118.05). The price moved back into the 117.75-118.05 range pretty soon after I opened the position. I guess this should have shown me that the breakout had failed and I should have closed my position. I also fiddled with my trailing stop (which was at 15 but then moved so I reset it to 30) which caused me to not automatically close the position when the price swung against me.
